04/25/2024 – Firewood

As in many other households, we need firewood at the orphanage. As it is cheaper to buy a large quantity of wood at once, we decided to buy a whole tree.

Moody looked around in the forest and selected a suitable tree, which was then delivered to us. Of course, we make sure that a new tree is planted for ever tree that is felled.

When the tree arrived, the children were very excited at first. They climbed onto the pile of wood and played around. Later, they helped stack the wood – or rather, they had to help.

It was a lovely day where everyone did something together for our House of Happiness. The children had a lot of fun and we now have a sufficient supply of firewood.
