I'm back home now and we've already had two wonderful Christmas markets. The last few days in the House of Happiness were - as always - full of beautiful moments and I'm looking forward to returning soon. 😊
A special surprise for the children this time was a creative idea from my father: He built blackboards for them (thanks to Mirjam for the great idea!), and Zurich Insurance also sponsored us chalk. The children were excited and eagerly wrote and drew on them. It was just lovely to see how they let their creativity run free.
A highlight of the last few days was the visit of a group from the Basel area. We sang, laughed and had a really lovely day together with the children. Such encounters are always heartwarming and bring so much joy into the house.
After I returned to Switzerland, Moody came with me. Together we attended the Christmas markets at Wildenstein Castle and in Pratteln. It was a special experience to represent the House of Happiness here. The Christmas market in Lausen is still to take place on December 14th, but Moody will be back home in Tanzania by then.
These moments, whether in Tanzania or Switzerland, show again and again how much joy and solidarity make up the House of Happiness. Thank you to everyone who supports us and makes this wonderful project possible!
