01.02.2023 – Time is running out

The time went by far too quickly and I'm already back in Switzerland. We were able to get a lot done and it gets better every day...

• The office is now being used and we are receiving reports from the children.

• Wonderful pictures have been painted in the dining room.

• The water channel is almost finished, the second hostel will be ready in the next few weeks, we have already ordered another 8 double beds so that the girls can move in.

• The classroom has been beautified and we have ordered 8 desks with benches.

• The outdoor kitchen has been improved and will be ready for use shortly.

• The garden has been laid out and some vegetables have already been planted.

• The rain gutter has been installed so that we can now store water.

• I visited the school and was able to see where our children spend a lot of time.

• We have the birth certificates and can now take out health insurance for the children.

• Benaya celebrated his 3rd birthday and we were able to spend a lovely evening – the first part in the dark, as the electricity was once again turned off in the whole region…
